This initiative aims to enhance the quality of life and bolster the morale of these brave individuals and their families, empowering them to return to a strong and fulfilling lives.

Mr. Sarath Ratanavadi, Chief Executive Officer, Gulf Development Public Company Limited, stated, “In our capacity as a leading large Thai corporation, we are honored to contribute to the support of the Royal Thai Army and national security. While we acknowledge that the Royal Thai Army are well-equipped with the necessary resources, our focus is on enhancing the quality of life for soldiers who have been injured, disabled, or have made the ultimate sacrifice. This commitment has been a core principle of our organization for a significant period. Following the recent landmine incident that resulted in soldier casualties, GULF extended immediate financial assistance and 1,000 ‘GULF Care’ relief packages to provide support and comfort to the soldiers. Building upon this commitment, we have established a 100-million-baht fund to offer ongoing relief to those who have been injured or have lost their lives in the line of duty, protecting our nation’s sovereignty. Moreover, our group companies, AIS and Thaicom, have leveraged our telecommunications and satellite technology to enhance communication capabilities in border regions. We have expanded 4G/5G signal coverage to ensure seamless communication for security personnel. Our commitment to providing comprehensive support is driven by our profound concern for the welfare of injured and disabled soldiers and the families of those who have passed away. We are dedicated to empowering them to lead strong and fulfilling lives and hold the fervent hope that the border conflict will be resolved in the near future.”

Gen. Phana Khlaeoplotthuk, Commander-in-Chief, the Royal Thai Army, remarked, “On behalf of the Royal Thai Army, I extend our profound gratitude to GULF for their generosity and concern for our personnel, and their families. We will ensure that these resources are utilized to their full potential, in line with the intended purpose. GULF has consistently provided the Royal Thai Army with support, from expanding telecommunications signals in border areas to donating relief packages. We are truly thankful for your ongoing assistance.”

Beyond the establishment of a 100-million-baht fund, GULF continues its social initiatives in the Thai-Cambodian border region. This demonstrates GULF’s unwavering commitment to social welfare and its consistent support for those who sacrifice for the nation. Recently, the ‘GULF Asa’ volunteer team jointly prepared and delivered over 2,000 ‘GULF Care’ relief packages to soldiers on security missions, as well as to affected citizens in shelters across provinces such as Buriram, Surin, Sisaket, and Ubon Ratchathani. Furthermore, financial support has been provided for the internal management of these shelters. Furthermore, GULF also extended 1.2 million Baht in aid to soldiers injured by landmines during patrol missions to protect the sovereignty of the Chong Bok area in Ubon Ratchathani Province.
