Gulf Development Public Company Limited (GULF), led by Ms. Theerathiphisa Tawichpasoot, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, alongside Mr. Tanon Tantisunthorn, Senior Executive Vice President, and Mr. Sitamon Ratanavadi, Assistant to Deputy CEO, participated in the press conference for the 2025 season of Thailand's professional football leagues. The event, held at Hua Lamphong Railway Station, was presided over by “Madam Pang” Mrs. Nualphan Lamsam, President of the Football Association of Thailand, and attended by numerous football partners.
Mrs. Nualphan Lamsam, President of the Football Association of Thailand, welcomed attendees, stating that the new season’s excitement and fun would begin in just one week across all three professional leagues under the slogan “Thai League BEYOND THE GAME 2025/26”
“I would like to thank all the sponsors who recognize the importance of the Thai League, which is watched by over 70% of Thais. Today is a great opportunity to signal the start of a new era together. We are ready in all respects, from the 102 participating clubs to increased financial support across all leagues. We are also grateful to sponsors like BYD for their support of all three professional leagues. For the first time in history, we have secured a comprehensive broadcasting rights partnership with GULF, AIS, and JAS to broadcast all three professional leagues for free.”
Mr. Tanon Tantisunthorn, Senior Executive Vice President, GULF, affirmed the company’s long-standing support. “For over 10 years, GULF has supported Thai football at all levels—Thai League 1, 2, and 3—because we believe football is more than just a game. It is a vital foundation for creating careers and opportunities for youth, and it drives local community economies. This is especially true for Thai Leagues 2 and 3, which are played in regional areas where travel and access can be challenging. Live broadcasts are therefore essential, as they connect local fans with their favorite teams.”
“Football is a high-potential industry, as evidenced by more than 100 clubs, over 10,000 personnel, and more than two million spectators last season. GULF is proud to be part of broadcasting all levels of Thai football, making the matches more accessible for fans nationwide while helping to drive the sport and the country’s economy forward,” Mr. Tanon added.
Mr. Tanon concluded, “GULF will continue to be a dedicated supporter of Thai football. We are confident that our contributions will help elevate Thai football to new heights in terms of popularity, quality, and international competitiveness.”
