GULF and AIS Unveil New Leisure Space at Benchakitti Park with “GULF x AIS Playspace Run” Elevating Urban Living by Integrating Clean Energy, Green Space, and Digital Connectivity

Gulf Development Public Company Limited (GULF), led by Mr. Sarath Ratanavadi, Chief Executive Officer, in collaboration with Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited (AIS), led by Mr. Somchai Lertsutiwong, Chief Executive Officer, hosted the ‘GULF x AIS Playspace Run’ to officially hand over a new leisure and activity space at Benchakitti Park in Bangkok. The event was presided over by Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Bangkok Governor. The event featured a 3-kilometer fun run, bringing together employees from both GULF and AIS, along with partners, customers, and members of the public. Adding to the lively atmosphere, celebrity runners Pon-Nawasch and Cookie-Yada Suwanpattana, as well as actor Guy Ratchanont and his son Aden from the Guy Haru Family, joined the event, inspiring participants to embrace healthy and sustainable lifestyles.

Mr. Sarath Ratanavadi, Chief Executive Officer, GULF, stated, “We hope that the new GULF Playscape will encourage more people to come and use the space for exercise. GULF invited AIS to co-host this 'GULF x AIS Playspace Run' because both of our companies played a part in designing this recreational area for everyone in the city. The GULF Playscape is designed to be accessible and safe for all ages. It features an internationally certified EPDM rubber floor for the playground, which offers high elasticity to absorb impact and reduce injuries from falls. The surrounding area is designed in a ‘Free Form’ layout with multi-purpose seating, accommodating various activities, including a therapeutic rock garden for seniors and others to enjoy light exercise. The space also incorporates sustainable features like automatic solar-powered lights, wireless mobile charging stations, and a solar-powered swing that lights up at night, enhancing user convenience and safety.
