GULF Disburses 23 Million Baht from Its 100-Million-Baht Fund to Support Families of Fallen Heroes

Gulf Development Public Company Limited (GULF), led by Mr. Sarath Ratanavadi, Chief Executive Officer, continues its commitment to social responsibility and national security by supporting 23 million baht to the families of 23 courageous soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty during border incidents between December 8–23, 2025. The ceremony was held at the Royal Thai Army Headquarters, witnessed by General Chaiyapruek Duangprapat, Chief of Staff, Royal Thai Army, and General Boonsin Padklang, The Advisor to the Army Commander-in-Chief. The financial aid is part of the "100-Million-Baht Fund" established by GULF to provide remedies and honor soldiers who have been injured or lost their lives while defending national sovereignty.

Mr. Sarath Ratanavadi, CEO, GULF, stated, "As a Thai company, we are deeply committed to supporting the Royal Thai Army’s missions, both directly and indirectly. Having grown up in a military family, I profoundly understand the sacrifices made by those on the front lines and the immense loss felt by their families. This fund was established to ensure that the loved ones of our fallen heroes are not left behind. Beyond financial aid, GULF is ready to leverage our expertise—particularly in satellite and communication technology—to enhance the Army's operational efficiency. We stand firmly with our troops and remain ready to provide full support to the nation in any way we can."

General Chaiyapruek Duangprapat, Chief of Staff, Royal Thai Army, stated, "On behalf of the Royal Thai Army and the units involved, I would like to express our deepest gratitude to GULF for their steadfast support. Every loss is a profound tragedy; these soldiers were not just personnel, but fathers, sons, and the pillars of their families. Their bravery and names will be permanently inscribed in our nation’s history as a legacy for future generations. Knowing that their families are being cared for provides immense morale to those still serving."

The 100-Million-Baht Fund has successfully disbursed over 50 million baht in total assistance to date, demonstrating a robust commitment to those serving on the front lines. A significant portion of this aid, totaling 40 million baht, has been allocated to support the families of 40 fallen soldiers, while an additional 10.5 million baht has been provided as medical recovery funds for injured personnel. Furthermore, the fund has extended its reach into public health by donating 2 million baht worth of essential medical equipment to Fort Sunpasitthiprasong Hospital in Ubon Ratchathani Province.

Beyond these direct financial contributions, GULF has actively bolstered border security and community welfare through the distribution of over 2,000 "GULF Care" relief bags to soldiers and displaced civilians in various shelters. The company also leverages its corporate ecosystem by collaborating with subsidiaries to provide advanced communication and satellite technologies, ensuring security forces can operate with greater efficiency.
