GULF Spreads Joy to Youths Nationwide for Children’s Day, Promote Eco-Friendly Learning and Environmental Awareness

Gulf Development Public Company Limited (GULF) continues its mission to empower the next generation, marking National Children’s Day 2026 by distributing over 3-million-baht worth of educational gifts and development tools to youths across Thailand. The festivities kicked off on January 7, 2026, at Chumchon Mooban Pattana School in Klong Toey, Bangkok. GULF executives, led by Ms. Theerathiphisa Tawichpasoot, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, and Mr. Sitamon Ratanavadi, Assistant to Deputy CEO, joined Mrs. Prateep Ungsongtham Hata, Founder of the Duang Prateep Foundation and the Foundation for Slum Child Care, as well as the founder of Chumchon Mooban Pattana School, to host a day of activities for students from Wat Khlong Toey, Chumchon Mooban Pattana, and Soon Ruam Namjai schools.

In addition to spreading joy through Children’s Day festivities, GULF’s primary focus this year is to cultivate environmental consciousness through “green” learning materials and eco-friendly gifts. A highlight of the initiative is the distribution of educational tools from the “Turning Bottles into Purpose” upcycling project. This project stems from the active participation of GULF employees, who sorted PET1 plastic bottles and caps, transforming them into valuable learning kits designed to stimulate and enhance early childhood development nationwide. This initiative marks a meaningful start to the new year by building a solid foundation of learning alongside a strong sense of environmental stewardship for Thai youth.

To champion social inclusion, GULF’s gift sets featured recycled tumblers showcasing artwork by neurodiverse artists from ARTSTORY by Autistic Thai Foundation. This partnership highlights GULF’s dedication to celebrating diversity and fostering an inclusive society. Recognizing the importance of digital literacy, GULF also distributed smartwatches and essential supplies—including stationery, sports equipment, and backpacks—to youths in 14 provinces nationwide, including Pathum Thani, Chachoengsao, Saraburi, Lopburi, Prachinburi, Ayutthaya, Nakhon Ratchasima, Chonburi, Rayong, Chiang Rai, Loei, Sakon Nakhon, Chaiyaphum, and Songkhla. By bridging the gap between education, technology, and environmental care, GULF aims to build a strong foundation for Thai youth, ensuring they are equipped to drive the country toward a sustainable and prosperous future.
