Sarath Ratanavadi Honored as Bangkok Post CEO OF THE YEAR 2025

Mr. Sarath Ratanavadi (2nd from left), Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Development Public Company Limited, is officially recognized as the Bangkok Post CEO of the Year 2025: Industrial Growth Pioneer.

The prestigious award, themed “Leading at the Edge,” highlights Mr. Sarath’s transformative leadership in evolving GULF from an energy powerhouse into a multi-sector conglomerate. His strategic expansion into digital infrastructure—marked by the 2024 cryptocurrency joint venture with Binance and the 2025 launch of GULF’s first 20MW data center—underscores a bold vision for Thailand’s future-facing economy.

Under Mr. Sarath's stewardship, GULF is also spearheading the nation’s energy transition, aiming to increase its renewable energy portfolio to over 40% by 2035 while maintaining economic stability through strategic investments in telecommunications (AIS) and national infrastructure.

“I want to contribute to the continued growth of the Thai economy and ensure Thailand doesn't become a country that's forgotten by the public,” stated Mr. Sarath Ratanavadi.
