GULF and AIS Ignite Hat Yai’s Spirit with Charity Run and Star-Studded Concert

The streets of Hat Yai were pulsing with a different kind of energy as the “Wing Len Bon Hat Yai” (Run & Play in Hat Yai) festival took over the city. Supported by powerhouses GULF and AIS, the event was more than just a festival—it was a high-octane celebration of resilience, community spirit, and the city’s vibrant comeback following recent floods. By blending GULF’s energy expertise with AIS’s cutting-edge digital infrastructure, the joint effort ensured the day was as seamless as it was soulful. From rock-solid 5G connectivity for live streams to a nationwide donation portal on AIS PLAY, the "Run & Play" vibes reached fans far beyond the city limits.
The festival kicked off with an early morning charity run, where locals and visitors alike hit the pavement to boost both their heart rates and the community’s recovery funds. As the sun set, the energy shifted to a bustling pop-up market featuring local culinary favorites and artisan shops, where influencers helped drive sales and spotlight the city’s unique charm. The lifestyle element was enhanced by the presence of many famous Thai personalities. Popular figures such as Jai TaitosmitH, Pa-Ted Yuthana, and Oat Pramote attracted significant attention, while Weng and Third from Thep Leela maintained the audience's energy and interest throughout the event. The night reached a fever pitch with high-voltage performances by TaitosmitH and Little John, turning the city center into a massive, open-air celebration of music and joy.
In a true show of community spirit, GULF’s employee team from the Chana Green Power Plant in Songkhla and the ‘Gulf Asa’ volunteer team from the head office also participated in the charity run. This reflects GULF’s core mission of ‘Powering the Future, Empowering the People,’ which focuses on creating social value and growing alongside the community in a sustainable manner.
This event follows GULF’s intensive relief efforts during the floods in November 2025, where over 9,000 "GULF Care" survival bags were delivered and rescue boats to the Chana and Hat Yai districts were deployed. This festival marks the transition from relief to revival, stimulating the local economy and inviting tourists back to the heart of Songkhla.
Furthermore, this event showcases the powerful synergy between GULF and AIS. By combining their foundational strengths in energy and digital infrastructure, we successfully reconnected the people of Hat Yai with happiness, morale, and tangible economic opportunity.
