GULF x Chula Dentistry Launch “GULF Sparks Smiles Year 6” in Prachinburi, Providing Free Dental Care Across Generations

Gulf Development Public Company Limited (GULF), in partnership with the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University (Dent Chula), organized the second mobile dental clinic of the “GULF Sparks Smiles Year 6” project. Held on May 5 – 7, 2026, at Thairath Wittaya 93 (Ban Lat Takhian) School in Kabin Buri District, Prachinburi Province, the initiative provided free, comprehensive oral healthcare to residents of all ages. The services include check-ups, fillings, and extractions, alongside specialized fluoride treatments for children to promote long-term oral hygiene. The mission reinforces GULF’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life for Thai people.
Ms. Yanisa Wattanakamnuan, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility, GULF, stated, “GULF recognizes that many people still face significant barriers to dental care due to high costs and the distance to medical facilities. ‘GULF Sparks Smiles’ is designed to bring high-quality, professional dental services directly to remote areas, free of charge. This plays a vital role in elevating the quality of life for Thais, especially children and youth who will grow to become the future of our nation, in alignment with our concept: Powering the Future, Empowering the People.”
Pirawish Limlawan, D.D.S., Ph.D., Academic staff of Department of Oral Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, expressed, “I am delighted to be a part of this mobile dental clinic project to help and give back to society. I hope to see this initiative continue, as a large number of people are still in need of dental treatments. Bringing a mobile dental clinic to remote areas is immensely beneficial to the public. Furthermore, proper care of primary teeth in childhood is crucial, as it allows children to chew their food and fully absorb the nutrients needed for their growth. It also prevents negative impacts on the eruption of permanent teeth and helps instill lifelong good habits in children.”
Ms. Orawan Wiprasert, a private company employee in Kabin Buri District, Prachinburi, shared, “I am very impressed to have received dental check-ups and treatments alongside my daughter through this project. The staff were attentive and provided fast service. The dentists not only delivered excellent care but also educated us along the way. Nowadays, accessing dental care is often difficult due to daily patient limits at hospitals and the capped coverage of social security benefits. As for my daughter, she usually only gets fluoride treatments at local health stations. Therefore, I would like to thank the project and hope it continues every year, as it assists people in many ways, especially the elderly in the community who find it inconvenient to travel.”
The “GULF Sparks Smiles” project is currently in its 6th consecutive year, stemming from a strong partnership between GULF and the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University. To date, the project has delivered bright smiles to over 6,500 Thais. In 2026, the project will host two additional free mobile dental clinics.
