GULF Welcomes Global Investors to GPD Power Plant, Reinforcing Confidence in Long-Term Growth

Gulf Development Public Company Limited (GULF) welcomed a delegation from leading global investment institutions, comprising analysts and portfolio managers, to the Gulf Pluak Daeng (GPD) power plant in Rayong Province. The visit provided the delegation with first-hand insights into the operations of one of Gulf Group’s key power projects, highlighting the company’s capabilities in managing large-scale energy assets and maintaining operational efficiency.
GPD is one of GULF Group’s large-scale Independent Power Producer (IPP) projects. The plant utilizes combined-cycle gas turbine technology and has a total installed capacity of 2,650 megawatts, with all generating units having commenced commercial operations in 2024. During the visit, the delegation received an in-depth overview of the plant’s power generation technologies and systems, natural gas and LNG procurement for fuel supply, energy cost management, as well as initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and environmental management in support of the company’s greenhouse gas emissions reduction and sustainability goals. The delegation also toured the plant’s operational facilities and exchanged views with the plant manager and engineer team.
