Telecommunication and Digital Services
GULF invests in ADVANC, Thailand’s leading telecommunications and digital services provider. Through its nationwide 4G/5G mobile network under the AIS brand, ADVANC serves over 51.5 million customers, holding more than 50% revenue market share with 46 million mobile subscribers. Its home broadband service, AIS 3BB Fibre, is also a market leader with 48% revenue market share and more than 5.2 million households across the country.
ADVANC continues to expand beyond connectivity through AIS Business, which provides enterprise solutions including data connectivity, cloud services, data centers, and ICT capabilities.
The Company also strengthens its digital ecosystem with nationwide distribution of mobile devices and digital products, the AIS Play entertainment platform, and digital financial services. Its investment in a Virtual Bank further supports the development of a fully integrated digital experience and new long-term growth opportunities.
Satellite and Space Technology Business
GULF holds shares in THCOM, a leading Asian satellite operator and SpaceTech company that provides a comprehensive portfolio of satellite communications services, including broadband services via High Throughput Satellite (HTS) and satellite TV broadcasting services.
THCOM is investing in new satellite projects, THAICOM 9 and THAICOM 10, to strengthen the future service capabilities, and has also broadened its horizons into SpaceTech business, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as Earth Observation (EO) satellite data, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML) to deliver new geospatial analytics services.
