Gulf Energy Development Plc (GULF), in collaboration with the
Thai Autistic Foundation, supported youth development and
artistic skill-building activities. GULF hosted a tour at the Nong Saeng power plant in Saraburi Province, and they also visited the Nong Saeng agricultural learning center and demonstration farm, which is a project developed by the company to share agricultural knowledge with people in the community, government agencies, and those who are interested. In addition to promoting organic farming and agro-tourism, it serves as a green space where visitors can relax and enjoy the revitalizing nature. This is the beginning of the foundation's youth representatives’ inspiration to learn through hands-on experience, communicate their understanding and interpretation
through art, and develop the creative skills to generate future revenue for the foundation.
Mr. Chusak Chantayanon, President of the Thai Autistic foundation, stated, “The purpose of the Thai Autistic Foundation is to improve the quality of life for of children with autism and vulnerable children. We have developed programs and various innovations in education and skill development, including a parent training program, to support their careers and enable them to earn a living. This year, we are collaborating with GULF, so the children were able to go on a field trip to a
power plant, learn about energy first-hand, and express this experience artistically.”
Mr. Warat Chantayanon, Brand Manager, Artstory, said, “Young people participating in this activity are artists from Artstory. They have a passion for art and exceptional painting abilities. Artstory is a social enterprise that fosters the growth of children with autism through art therapy. Their works of art can generate income and support them as artists. We intend to expand the network to additional provinces too. This time, we’ve collaborated with GULF to take children to a power plant in the province of Saraburi and turn their experience into art. This will extend to the realm of NFT,
where these works will be displayed in a virtual gallery and generate revenue for the children in the digital age.
“The children were impressed and delighted by the visit. A field trip is such a wonderful experience for children with
autism because they have such an open mind to enjoy the world around them. This experience also enhances their creative abilities.
I would like to thank GULF for giving these children this opportunity,”
added Thanapat Lertkrai (Fred), Art teacher at the
Thai Autistic foundation.
In addition, GULF and the Thai Autistic Foundation organized a painting workshop in which Ms. Pornpan Suwan,
the owner of the Facebook fanpage ‘PannPam Cartoon Creates Happiness’ with over 140,000 followers, was invited to offer advice on
the creation of the artwork. The workshop’s outcome will be displayed in an art exhibition through a virtual gallery accessible via an
online platform.
